About Ruth:

Ruth Huddlestone

Ruth has had a background of involvment in the Health and Healing world of more than 30 years.
Initially helping out at the Natural Healing Centre in Goole, founded by Ruth's mother Kathleen Huddlestone
who recently retired from the shows Ruth organises.
Ruth later qualified as a therapist in the field of Iridology and in Crystal Healing,
gaining a substantial working and intuitive knowledge within all of these fields of expertise.

In 2005 Ruth became the new owner of the:

Peppercorn Health Food Store

Based in Goole, East Yorkshire, the Peppercorn Health Food Store had been due to close in the February of that year.
Ruth took over and has now been successfully running the store for more than 12 years and will be
expanding the shop to include an online service from 2017.
Before organising festivals, Ruth attended as a stand holder and still does when
calendar dates permit. This has given Ruth insight into the running of all aspects of different
festivals, observing the requirements of the stand holders and their expectations of what an
organiser should provide.
Ruth looks after the bookings for the stands, advanced ticket sales, workshop/talk schedule,
the live performances and publicity/advertising for the festivals.

History of our Health and Healing Festivals.

Our first festival was founded in 1996 by Kathleen Huddlestone
under the banner of the Spiritual Venturer’s Association
and held at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton.
Shortly afterwards, Kathleen's daughter Ruth joined the team in the role of organisation
and continued that role for several years.
In 2004, Kathleen took a backseat role and Ruth became the main organiser
under the name of Labyrinth.
In 2006, the festival held at the Pavilions of the Harrogate was added
creating a new dimension to the world of health and healing.
